October 2010 OpeningAfter completing two months of building renovations and refurbishing, the Boca Raton Museum of Art proudly re-opened its doors to the public on Tuesday, October 12 with the debut of five superb exhibitions. The exhibitions include a range of works from European and American masters of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth century’s to globally renowned contemporary artists.
On Monday, October 11 a formal ribbon cutting ceremony was held with Museum Patrons of the Arts, Palm Beach County Commissioner Steven L. Abrams, Boca Raton Mayor Susan Whelchel and other civic leaders in attendance. The event celebrated the Museum’s re-opening and its growing national and international reputation as a cultural and educational leader in South Florida. (Click on thumbnails to view larger photos)
