35th Annual Art Festival Returns for Outdoor Fun on February 5 and 6

Press Release

The Boca Raton Museum of Art presents the 35th annual Boca Raton Museum Art Festival in Mizner Park on Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6 ─ one of the longest-running and most prestigious juried Art Festivals in South Florida. More than 140 artists and artisans from around the country have been selected to showcase and sell their artwork at this outdoor art festival. This year's event is expanded and enhanced like never before since it happens during the blockbuster world premiere of the global tour exhibition Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru. This event is the only Art Festival permitted to occupy the entire breadth and scope of Mizner Park open-air location.

New this Year: Festivalgoers will be able to purchase Annual Membership Packages that will include free tickets to see the Machu Picchu exhibition, along with the rest of the annual perks with each purchased Membership Package. The membership packages will also include free admission beginning with the next major exhibition coming to the Museum in April 2022, entitled Art of the Hollywood Backdrop. On Saturday, Feb. 5 the Museum's official Family Day features "The Great Create," where families can work on art-making projects together, based on the ancient artifacts in the Machu Picchu exhibition. Over the Festival weekend, there will also be free musical concerts and dance performances, plus food and beverages for purchase from South Florida’s leading Peruvian restaurants.

The Boca Raton Museum’s annual outdoor Art Festival attracts more than 40,000 art collectors and enthusiasts to the Museum’s doorstep every year. Proceeds from the festival help support the Museum’s educational programs for children and youth. Original artwork is available for purchase, created by more than 140 artists and artisans from throughout the United States.

The public can purchase fine artworks in a diversity of mediums including ceramics, wood, fiber, glass, drawing, painting, jewelry, photography, and sculpture. This is the only art festival affiliated with the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the only art festival permitted to occupy the full breadth of Mizner Park’s outdoor entertainment, shopping and dining complex, with free garage parking.
