Boca Raton Museum Artists Guild Gallery Moves to Boca Raton

The energy is high as the Artists Guild moves into its new gallery located at 2910 North Federal Highway, part of Elegance Plaza in Boca Raton. This new Artist Guild Gallery is 3,000 square feet – almost double the size of the building on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach that has housed the Gallery for the last nine years. The Grand Opening is slated for November 15, 2017 at 6:00 pm, with a ribbon cutting by the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce at 6:30 pm.

“This larger, light-filled space has inspired both the artists and art lovers with renewed enthusiasm,” said Jody Grass, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Boca Raton Museum of Art. “We are thrilled to have this opportunity to support and strengthen our local arts community with a new facility.”

Originally founded in 1950, the Boca Raton Museum Artists Guild has long provided an association for artists to share their work. Today, the membership-based group is an auxiliary of the Museum and organizes more than 20 juried exhibitions of artworks created by Artists Guild members throughout the year, in various locations. Plans for the new gallery include workshops, art demonstrations, lectures, and, of course, exhibition opening receptions.

“In addition to creating a new, updated space for local artists to share their work, this move brings the Artists Guild closer to our organization’s other two campuses – the Museum at 501 Plaza Real and the Art School at 801 W. Palmetto Park Road,” said the Museum’s Executive Director Irvin Lippman. “With the close proximity of these three venues, we now can offer a much stronger cultural campus for Boca Raton.”

The new Artists Guild Gallery will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Regular openings for new exhibitions, which are always free and open to the public, will be announced via Though the gallery is open to everyone to visit, art lovers can take advantage of all that the organization offers by joining the Artists Guild.

The Artists Guild President Stephen Lombardi invites artists working in any fine art media, and non-artists who love and support the arts, to become members of the Artists Guild. Membership details are available by calling 561.278.7877.
