Contemporary Art Initiative Fund in Honor of Irvin Lippman
As we celebrate our 75th Anniversary, we also prepare to bid farewell to our Executive Director, Irvin Lippman, who will retire in January 2025 after 11 transformative years. Under his leadership, the Museum has flourished, highlighted by groundbreaking exhibitions like Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru and our current Splendor and Passion: Baroque Spain and Its Empire.
To honor Irvin’s legacy, we are proud to establish the Contemporary Arts Initiative Fund, supporting exhibitions and programs that continue his mission. The inaugural project, Glasstress Boca Raton 2025, opens April 23, 2025, and features renowned artists collaborating with Murano glass masters.
Donors at every level will be invited to join us for Irvin’s Farewell Toast at the Boca Raton Museum of Art on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Donors at the $1,000 and above will receive a special orange cap and will also be recognized in our spring MUSE magazine.
