Acrylic is a unique medium that is inexpensive and easy to use. It dries quickly, and be used on a variety of surfaces. With simple techniques, acrylics can mimic other painting mediums like oil and watercolor, applied straight from the tube or being thinned to transparency. Painting from a variety of still life subjects, students can explore their own style. color theory and brush techniques will be emphasized.
