Paint Your World (Ages 6-7)

This is the week to enjoy painting with many different materials and creating many different forms, from towns and cities to still life, cars, people, plants and animals and abstract design. We will use watercolor and acrylics, pastels with water and colored pencils that turn into watercolor. Students will experiment with household products, like salt, soap and vegetables, to see how their paintings can take on a unique look and texture. Artist inspirations include Monet, Hopper, Frank Stella, Beatrix Potter.
