Have you recently updated your Membership Program?
We have designed a new program to improve our Member experience and grow our community at the Museum. We have thoughtfully tiered membership levels to provide various levels of engagement, allowing you to find meaningful ways to participate and contribute. Have questions? Is my old membership level valid?
Your old membership level is still active and will be valid until your expiration date. You can continue to use your valid, current membership card/s.
When does my membership become active?
Your membership becomes effective immediately upon joining. You will receive an email with your digital card/s and receipt of purchase, and have the option of adding the digital membership card/cards to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay.
Will I receive a physical membership card?
Yes, you will receive a physical membership card/s in the mail within 2 weeks of registration.
Whom can I add to my membership?
Plus+One and above allows up to two adults at the same address. Plus+Family and above allows all children under 18 years old within your household. Two households cannot share memberships, and membership are not transferable.
For how long is my membership valid?
Membership is a 12-month rolling period; Example: If you become a member on 5/10/2024 then your expiration date will be 5/31/2025.
Can my admission tickets be applied towards the price of a membership?
Yes, admission purchases can be applied towards a museum membership if the transaction is on the same day. Please keep a copy of your receipt in order to apply to your membership registration. You can only apply up to two admission tickets for membership levels Plus+One and above.
Can I renew my membership early?
Yes, you can renew your membership early. Your new 12-month rolling cycle does not begin until after your existing expiration date. Example: Your membership is due to expire on 8/31/2024, but you decided to renew on 5/12/2024; your new expiration will be 8/31/2025.
Do you offer Auto Renewal?
We are pleased to introduce auto renewal, allowing you to save both time and effort. To take advantage of this feature, you can check the auto renew button on our website when you are joining or renewing your membership or contact us at 561.392.2500, ext. 206 for assistance!
Can I cancel my membership and receive a refund?
No, all membership purchases are final, and cannot be canceled or refunded.
Can I upgrade my membership?
Yes, you can upgrade your membership and pay a difference up to 4 months before your expiration date. The expiration date stays the same and you will receive your new digital membership cards via email, and you will receive new physical membership card/s in the mail. Do you offer the Museum reciprocal program?
- Yes, we offer the North American Reciprocal Program (NARM), which includes 1,000+ participating museum nationwide, starting at our Ambassadors membership level and above – for a full list of NARM participating museums, visit NARM website
- Norton Museum of Art - Beginning November 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025, all Members of the Boca Raton Museum of Art can additionally enjoy free admission to the Norton, which will feature the exhibition Sorolla and the Sea (November 23, 2024 – April 13, 2025). Both exhibitions arrive from the Hispanic Society of America, home to the most extensive collection of Hispanic art outside of Spain and Latin America.
Can I downgrade my membership?
You may downgrade your membership when renewing your membership, but a refund for the difference for your current membership will not be issued; all membership purchases are final.
How many people can I bring as guests?
Your membership level will determine how many guest passes you will receive for the exhibition Splendor & Passion: Baroque Spain & It’s Empire. Please visit our membership page to see the number of guest allotments provided with each level. Splendor and Passion guest passes will be included with your membership card(s) when mailed to you.
Do you have handicapped access or wheelchairs?
Yes, Museum exhibitions are wheelchair accessible. We do have limited number of manual wheelchairs available to borrow for free on a first-come, first-served basis.
What is the Museum Store discount for Members?
The Store discount for Members is 10%, and the store will offer unique additional discounts for Member Appreciation Days throughout the year.
What is the discount for students of the Museum Art School?
Individual & Plus+One receive 10% off the Art School classes for the member. Plus+Family level and above receive 10% off Art School classes and Summer Sessions for children under 18 in your household.
What is the MUSE Subscription?
A MUSE Subscription is the Museum’s publication sent bi-annually to all members and donors.
What are Promotional Partner Perks?
Promotional Partner Perks are special discounts that Members receive from various businesses with which the Museum partners with for promotions. Promotional Partners are listed at the bottom of our Membership page.
At what level do I get concierge service?
Curatorial Circle and above membership levels receive Concierge service. We have a dedicated staff member to assist you with all of your questions regarding Museum membership, donations, and events, and questions. Can I transfer my membership to someone else?
No, memberships are not transferrable.
