The Museum offers extraordinary opportunities for professors to enhance their instruction and for students to enjoy the visual arts and broaden their learning. Remember, there is free admission for college students with valid ID.

Collegiate Internships

The Education Department offers semester-long internships for upper division (junior or senior) or graduate-level students majoring in an education, art-related, or museum-related discipline. Applicants should be organized, detail-oriented, and computer literate. They should also have a general knowledge of art terminology and education theories/practices, possess excellent writing skills, and LOVE working with people. Interns work in a dedicated, professional, and dynamic education office.

Student Spotlight Tours

In partnership with FAU’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters, Visual Arts and Art History Department, upper division Art History students present an informational tour and submit a research paper on select artwork in the Museum's Collection.

College Night

The Museum’s annual Fall event offers fun, interactive activities, and cool happenings to spice up your visit to the Museum. Bring a classmate and chill to music, art making, conversation, and snacks.

College Tours

College and university professors can bring their students for a personal encounter with art. Museum tours engage and challenge students to achieve a greater awareness and understanding of the visual arts. Professors may schedule a self-guided or docent-guided tour. Please note that lecturing is not always permitted due to gallery space constraints. Advance reservations are required for all college groups through the Education Department.

  • Free admission for professors/faculty and students with advanced reservations. (Professors/Faculty must pay admission when reservations are not made.
  • Tours are scheduled Wednesdays through Fridays beginning at 10:00 am or Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 11:00 am.
  • Guided tours are approximately 1 hour in length.
