Docent Program

Every two years, the Museum seeks applicants who are permanent, year-round South Florida residents, for the Docent Candidate program.  While it is advantageous for applicants to have Art History/Art Appreciation knowledge, it is not required.  Candidates must be able to participate in a six-month course of study and, after graduation, commit to one half day a week service and attend all Docent training sessions.

Special Events

We rely on our volunteers during special events such as our annual Gala, Member Openings, the Art Festival, receptions, lectures, etc., on an as-needed basis. These opportunities are great for students and seasonal residents that are not available on a weekly basis.
