Learn about the creative process of collage/multimedia artist Andy Hirst. Hirst creates large portraits on canvas comprised of magazine clippings built up in layers to delineate facial features. He uses additional clippings of various relevant words and numbers to form phrases that are incorporated into the image to communicate deeper meaning and depth.
