Boca Museum to Open 3 Exhibitions

In the News
It was among the first museums to reopen after lockdown. And now the Boca Raton Museum of Art plans to launch three exhibitions. On Oct. 7, the Boca Raton Museum of Art will launch its bold new season; three more shows will launch Jan. 26. Two exhibitions — “Edward Steichen: In Exaltation of Flowers” and “Works on Paper: Drawn from the Collection” — have been extended until Jan. 3. Shows opening Oct. 7 are: “All My Presidents and Other Recent Acquisitions” — This is a humorous depiction of 13 U.S. presidents, by Ben Patterson. He was the only Black member of the Fluxus Art Movement. “Trine Lise Nedreaas: The Entertainers” — The exhibition includes a video titled “The Mask,” among several other video installations. “Jeff Whyman: Out of Nature” — The ceramicist lives and works in Delray Beach, and this is one of a continuing series of exhibitions of work by artists in the area. That’s the beginning. More in link.
