This ceramics design course introduces the methods and essential techniques to hand-building, wheel throwing and glazing ceramics. Students will explore different ways and opportunities to transform clay into functional ceramics, from basic techniques that have endured for centuries to modern patterns and decals that offer outstanding complexity.
