Drawing and Painting from 3-D Forms (Ages 13-18)

Students will create three dimensional paper sculptures for the purpose of close observation of tones to use for painting and drawings. Students will study and observe the curvilinear and rectilinear planes of the sculptures and using a value chart they will draw an illusion of depth
with pen and pencil. Students will finish a series of drawings showing volume by use of contrast.
