Hand-painted letters in a digital font, which call to mind an austerity and rigidity of a vintage computer terminal, were juxtaposed by playful meditations on language by textual Pop artist John Boone. Idiomatic words and phrases played off each other, often in unexpected ways, through paired paintings and mixed media works.
