Meet the Artist Kathleen Lang - Museum Store Event

Kathleen joined our Local Artists in the museum store after her work was seen for two seasons at our annual Art Festival. She is based in Sarasota and has been investigating sustainable creative processes with textile and paper for over twenty years. Focusing originally on fine art printmaking, Kathleen has merged her methods of printmaking and natural dyeing using only live plants. This intense focus in the planet friendly process called eco printing has produced her stunning collection of one-of-a-kind silk scarves.
